Our featured system pairs Malarkey asphalt shingles — built with rubberized NEX® polymer-modified asphalt — over Fontana feltunderlayment. NEX polymer technology gives the shingle more flexibility and better granule adhesion, and Malarkey's shingles carry up to a Class 4 impact rating, the highest available. Our crew installs the system to manufacturer spec, roof after roof.
That said — this is what we recommend, not what we require. If you prefer a different shingle brand, a different underlayment, or a standing-seam metal roof instead, we'll build your estimate around it. The quality of the install matters more than the label on the wrapper.
